Starting with a kid's instant camera and disposable cardboard cameras, to my parents’ first digital camera that used 3.5 floppy disks, I’ve enjoyed photography for as long as I can remember.

Serious shooting began at Foothill High School in Pleasanton, California with my father's 35mm Pentax where I found that working in the darkroom was my first passion.

While in college at Whittier I began working as a photographer at the school's paper and eventually worked my way up to the photo editor. It was here that I found the joy in taking an assignment and delivering a great image.

Capturing the perfect shot, whether it helps tell as story or simple captures a beautiful moment, is the most satisfying thing I can do as a photographer.
